Swimming restricted at Bald Eagle State Park
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has announced restricted swimming at Bald Eagle State Park beach because of elevated E. coli bacterial counts.
Testing of the waters will continue daily, but swimming will not be permitted until the E. coli levels drop below 235 counts per 100 milliliters, according to a press release. Current E. coli counts are 280, the release states.
Beach areas will remain open for sunbathing and other recreational activities
