closeState College Borough Police said two evening burglaries over the weekend in State College may have been related.
Police said the first burglary occurred between 6:40 and 7:30 p.m. on the 200 block of South Burrows Street. Officers reported that someone had entered an apartment at the location through an unlocked window, stealing a laptop, two digital cameras and an iPod, all of which were valued at about $3,000.
That theft were followed a few hours later by a second reported burglary on the 200 block of South Fraser Street, occurred between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
During the burglary a black laptop, several DVDs and two hookah were taken from an apartment. The items were valued at about $1,870.
Anyone with information regarding either burglary is asked to contact police at 234-7150.
