Penn State is looking at buying another piece of property on West College Avenue near the former O.W. Houts & Sons site that the university purchased last year.
Penn State trustees will meet Friday in New Kensington and are scheduled to vote on whether to buy at a property at West College Avenue and Butz Street.
A university spokesman said there are still no specific plans for the property, which is next to the West campus.
Penn State paid $3.4 milion for the 4.66-acre Houts property, and is in the process of demolishing and clearing the buildings from the property. University officials have said they have no firm plans for that property either.
