Rig rollover closes I-80 exit ramp for 3 hours

The westbound exit ramp of Interstate 80 Exit 161 in Marion Township was closed for about three hours last night when a tractor trailer rolled onto its side as it was leaving the highway, state police said.

Police said Eugene McCann, 56, of Beaver Falls, was hauling bailed paper in the 1007 Volvo Tractor Trailer. The rig was traveling to fast as it entered the exit ramp at about 11 p.m., police said, causing it to roll onto the driver's side.

McCann was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center. Information on his condition was not immediately available.
