One person injured in Route 220/322 crash

State police responded to a three-vehicle crash that injured one driver on U.S. Routes 220/322 near Clems Barbeque in Worth Township about 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to state police at Philipsburg, Angela Shadowolf, 46, of West Decatur, was unable to bring her 1996 Ford van to a stop in time to avoid traffic stopped ahead of her. The front of her van struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Gregory Whitehead, 35, of Philipsburg, pushing Whitehead's vehicle into the back of a sedan driven by Jeffrey Kagan, 21, of Sha0ron, Mass.

Shadowolf suffered moderate injuries, according to state police. Neither of the other driver's was injured, but three of four passengers in Whitehead's vehicle were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries, according to state police.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
