Bald Eagle Fire Company burglarized

State police at Hollidaysburg are investigating a burglary at the Bald Eagle Fire Hall in Snyder Township, Blair County, in which a laptop computer, a portable radio and charger and an empty metal cash box were taken.

The burglary occurred Monday, between 2:30 and 3 a.m. when the fire company was dispatched to a vehicle accident on Interstate 99 -- an accident which the fire company could not find.

While the crew was out, someone went through an unlocked door into the fire hall, and broke a window to gain access to a locked interior office, from which they removed the computer and other items.
