Nittany Lions fall to Boilermakers

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Purdue scored nine runs in the first two innings Thursday and went on to beat Penn State 15-6 in the second round of the Big Ten baseball tournament.

The Nittany Lions (27-30) will play against an opponent to be determined in an elimination game at either 12:05 p.m. or 3:35 p.m. Friday, depending on the result of this evening's Illinois-Michigan game.
