Police: PSU student fired paint balls from balcony

PATTON TOWNSHIP — Township police have cited a Penn State student from Philadelphia who they said was firing paint balls from a second-floor balcony at a Vairo Boulevard apartment complex Thursday morning.

Christopher Renshaw, was cited for criminal mischief and faces fines of up to $300, in addition to cleanup costs.

Police were called at 1:30 a.m. to The Point to investigate paintball shootings and found signs and other property had been shot, according to Patton Township police.

Renshaw apparently stationed himself on a balcony and began shooting at whatever was in sight, according to police.

Police confiscated the paintball gun.
