A building housing Coleman's Asphalt on Curtin Street in Osceola Mills sustained major damage when a driver struck the building with a truck, then fled the scene, state police at Philipsburg reported.
The crash occurred at 5:05 p.m. Monday when Dustin Smith, 19, of Philipsburg, lost control of his 1991 GMC truck while traveling west on Curtin Street and the truck struck the building at 87 Curtin, police reported.
Smith fled the scene with his passenger, who police identified as Angel Young, 21, also of Philipsburg, state police reported. Young and the truck were later located in Osceola Mills by Decatur Township police, according to the report, and Smith later surrendered to state police.
State police reported that charges of DUI, hit and run and other traffic offenses will be filed against Smith.
