Hearing scheduled for I-99
Members of House Transportation Committee will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday to hear the status of efforts to find a permanent solution to the acidic rock on Skytop Mountain, state Rep. Lynn B. Herman, R-Philipsburg, announced.
The committee will hear from Kevin Kline, PennDOT district executive, according to a news release from Herman. It would be the fourth such meeting the committee has held on the acid rock unearthed by construction of Interstate 99.
The meeting will take place in Hearing Room 2 of the North Office Building in the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg.
