State police at Clearfield are searching for a missing man who they say left his residence early Tuesday morning.
According to police, Marvin Lee Swoope, 18, of Woodland, left his residence at about 2 a.m. wearing a T-shirt, shorts and no shoes. Swoope has autism and is listed by the National Crime Information Center’s missing person file as an endangered person.
Swoope was described by police as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 250 pounds with black hair and a full beard.
State police and local fire companies are searching for him in the Shiloh area of Bradford Township, police said. Anyone who comes in contact with Swoope is asked to contact state police at Clearfield at 857-3800.
