Rodney Musser resigned from the Bellefonte Area school board on Tuesday night. Musser, whose third four-year term expires at the end of this year, was not seeking re-election.

I visited Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte recently and saw people feeding the ducks, children playing and a couple sitting on a bench quietly watching the activities.

Erin Day and Cole McClarren were the recipients of the James Snyder Award at Bellefonte High School Wednesday night. The award, sponsored by the Centre Daily Times, is given in memory of Snyder, a former CDT sports editor, who was killed in an automobile accident in December of 1957.
BELLEFONTE — Starting next year, students could receive a Bellefonte Area High School diploma without taking classes in the building.
