In a unanimous decision Tuesday night, the Bellefonte Area school board voted Keith Hamilton as board president and Robert Lumley-Sapanski as board vice president.
Hamilton was the former board president until Jenna Moorehead replaced him in a 5-4 vote during a reorganization meeting in December. Hamilton, in a unanimous vote, was then elected vice president.
In February, Moorehead announced her resignation to pursue an out-of-state opportunity. Her last day was March 9.
Hamilton is the district manager for J.C. Ehrlich Pest Control Co.
According to the board website, he graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School in Lancaster, and attended Elizabethtown College and Millersville University. He also completed a two-year management development school at Penn State-York.
Lumley-Sapanski has served on the board for 14 years.
He served as board vice president three times and served as board president for six years.
Information from the board website said Lumley-Sapanski is a former president of the Pennsylvania School Board Association and was named a master school board member, along with being recognized as a distinguished school board member by the National School Board Association.
