A prayer vigil will be held Sunday at the State College Alliance Church for Jean Tuggy, the Pine Grove Mills woman found dead in her home last month.
The prayer vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the church, 1221 W. Whitehall Road in State College.
Tuggy’s funeral was held Feb. 6 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Fla., to be close to family and friends, including her parents.
She was 60.

Ferguson Township police are leading the homicide investigation in conjunction with the Centre County District Attorney’s Office.
In a press release earlier this month, Ferguson Township police said “unlike other communities, we have very few homicides in our area. Very often there is some connection between the perpetrator and the victim. We have not yet determined whether that is the situation in the homicide of Pine Grove Mills resident Jean Tuggy.”
Police have also encouraged residents to continue practicing standard, personal and home security measures by keeping doors and windows locked.
A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone who offers information that may lead to an arrest.
