A Pine Grove Mills man was bound over on charges of felony aggravated assault Wednesday after a preliminary hearing.
Jeremy Lambert, 29, was taken into custody Nov. 2 after a female complainant claimed he physically assaulted her Oct. 28 at their residence. Three police agencies assisted in the arrest.
The Centre County District Attorney’s Office argued for a bail modification Wednesday, saying the commonwealth has no information on where he lives or if he has any ties to the community. Lambert’s attorney argued that his client has no prior criminal record and had willingly appeared for the preliminary hearing.
District Judge Thomas Jordan agreed to the bail modification, increasing bail from $10,000 to $50,000. Lambert was taken by officers from the courtroom.

The bail modification included a no-contact clause, Jordan said, barring him from contacting the complainant.
