A 33-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stalking and harassing a 17-year-old co-worker, according to state police.
Jarret Matthew Kitchen, of Lock Haven, has been employed as a shift manager at a Clinton County McDonald’s.
He was allegedly observed unhooking a 16-year-old co-worker’s bra in May and at a later date made a sexual advance on a 17-year-old co-worker while reaching over her, according to state police. He also reportedly told the 17-year-old at about 4 p.m. Thursday that he wanted her to bend over, so he could “hit her with a towel.”
“The culmination of the two separate incidents involving verbal comments to the (17-year-old) caused her substantial emotional distress in that she did not appear for her scheduled work shift on (Saturday),” according to police. The teen co-worker appeared at work the next day, saw Kitchen and left without starting her shift.
The 17-year-old told police that she was afraid if she continued to work with Kitchen that the alleged harassment would turn physical.
Kitchen was charged with misdemeanor stalking — repeated communication to cause fear and harassment, a summary charge.
Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said the McDonald's was located in Clearfield County.
