Centre County Alcohol Task Force patrols this weekend led to the arrest of nine people on suspicion of driving under the influence, police said.
In addition, two people were cited for underage drinking and six people were cited for public drunkenness.
Police issued 27 traffic citations and gave 87 warnings.
The names of those suspected of DUI were not available because they had not been charged.
Officers from State College Borough and Ferguson Township, Patton Township and Spring Township police departments participated.
The patrols will continue in the hope of reducing alcohol and related crimes, said Ferguson Township Sgt. Ryan Hendrick, the task force’s enforcement coordinator.
