Ohio man convicted of DUI after New Year’s Eve traffic stop

Francisco Gomes II, 32, of Canton, Ohio, was pulled over around 5 a.m. on New Year’s Eve after police saw his car driving erratically on Interstate 80 in Snow Shoe Township. Authorities said Gomes swerved his vehicle in and out of the right lane as the trooper’s cruiser got onto the highway, and as police followed him, they saw his car tail another one, straddle the middle of the highway three times and drive over the fog line on the right side of the road.
