A man who was attacked by an unknown person early Friday morning was released from the hospital, State College police said Saturday.
Lt. Brad Smail said the man spoke with investigators Saturday morning regarding the incident.
The man was found at about 2 a.m. Friday on the 500 block of South Allen street. Police said the man was struck in the head by an unknown person and suffered a skull fracture.
The man was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center and then to a hospital in Hershey.

Smail said the man didn’t see the suspect, but police are continuing to investigate.
