State Patty’s Day burglary suspect Andrew Ronczka, 23, a University of Pittsburgh student from Monaca, pleaded guilty Thursday to five counts of burglary, two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and 12 counts of criminal trespass, all felonies.
Ronczka and co-defendant Jesse Hribar, 23, a Geneva College student, also from Monaca, entered multiple apartments in two downtown buildings March 1 while in State College for the student-created drinking holiday.
More than $2,000 in electronics, cash and other items was taken.
Hribar entered his plea Friday.
Never miss a local story.
“Students’ homes are not shopping malls, nor is State Patty’s Day a viable excuse to come to State College and victimize our community. We will seek an appropriate sentence for the defendants’ actions,” Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said.
