The federal prosecutor handling the case of Christopher Lee, who’s accused of child pornography and coercion of minors charges, on Friday filed to continue the Boalsburg native’s trial for 60 days, according to court documents available Monday.
Jury selection and trial of the case was scheduled for Dec. 1 at the federal courthouse in Williamsport. The motion to continue was filed because several computers, external hard drives and thumb drives taken from Lee’s home are still being examined by the FBI, according to the motion. The motion was signed by Assistant U.S. Attorney Meredith A. Taylor and submitted by U.S. Attorney Peter J. Smith. Kyle Rude, counsel for Lee, agreed to the motion, according to the motion.
