A State College woman was charged with stalking and harassment Sunday after reportedly making threatening phone calls and sending similar text messages to another woman, State College police said.
Diandra Yeckley, 34, reportedly called the woman in August and threatened to “cut” her and have her kids “taken away,” according to the criminal complaint. Police met with Yeckley in September and told her not to contact the woman again, according to the complaint.
The woman called police again this month and showed them numerous text messages reportedly from Yeckley threatening to go to the woman’s house and harm her, according to the criminal complaint.
Yeckley is free on $10,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 17.
