A State College man could be facing charges after police say he drove over a woman’s leg, breaking it.
State College police Lt. Mark Argiro said the driver, Paul Luther Lenker III, 28, was driving on East Calder Way near High Street early Saturday morning when he became engaged in an argument with a group of people.
During the alleged argument, a 25-year-old female passenger reportedly exited the vehicle.
Argiro said Lenker then backed up the vehicle, hitting a telephone pole and driving over the woman’s leg.
Never miss a local story.
The female was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center, where it was determined that her leg was broken, Argiro said.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The driver could face DUI and careless driving charges, Argiro said.
