closePolice: Teen endangered others with tire prank
Rockview state police say a 15- year-old Bellefonte boy was charged with recklessly endangering another person last Sunday when he rolled a large bulldozer tire down a hill, striking a passing car on Upper Coleville Road.
It was unclear if the driver, a 33- year-old Bellefonte man, was injured.
Hand tools reported stolen from business trailer
Philipsburg state police reported someone stole $1,000 in hand tools from a trailer at Stark Contracting.
An air compressor was also taken from the company parking lot on North Third Street in Philipsburg, police say.
This happened between Thursday and Friday.

Handguns, money stolen from Howard home
A Howard home was burglarized last week and state police say three handguns were taken, along with about $600 in change.
The Liberty Township home was broken into sometime between Monday and Friday, Rockview state police say.

Two men hospitalized after McDonald’s scuffle
Two men went to the hospital Saturday morning after a fight broke out in front of McDonald’s on East College Avenue.
Police say three men were fighting with another group of men and two ended up injured while the second group of men fled.

Man caught trespassing, second suspect at large
A man was arrested after he was caught trespassing in several apartments in The Graduate apartment complex at 138 S. Atherton St., State College police said.
Joshua Jovanovic was caught when a woman called police because two men entered her apartment, one touching her inappropriately while the other stole a bottle of liquor from her, police say.
He was arraigned before District Judge Allen Sinclair. The second suspect wasn’t caught, police said.
