A 51-year-old Huntingdon woman and 41-year-old Huntingdon man suffered severe injuries after a Saturday evening car crash involving two 17-year-old Bellefonte boys, police say.
The accident occurred around 6:20 p.m. Saturday in Walker Township as the vehicle driven by the Huntingdon woman was traveling south on state route 64 and slowed. That vehicle was then struck from behind by one driven by a 17-year-old from Bellefonte.
The Huntingdon man and woman were transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center. The 17-year-old and his passenger were not injured. Information on their conditions was not available.
Penn State buildings vandalized
Penn State police say $600 worth of damage occurred when a glass window at the entrance door located at the breezeway between Cedar Building and More Building was damaged. The vandalism occurred between 6:30 and about 10:05 p.m. on Saturday.
About $400 worth of damage was caused when a window at Headhouse I Building was damaged. That occurred between 2:10 and 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Trick-or-treat dispute turns physical
A 42-year-old State College woman was punched by the father of a trick-or-treater, police say. Police say the woman was giving out full sized candy bars from her Shamrock Avenue home, when a man, a woman and young girl, who appeared about 3 years old showed up and grabbed an entire container.
The woman told them that they could just have one piece, but they ignored her. When she reached for the man’s school bag, he allegedly punched her in the arm. The man was described as black, with a green coat and possibly a skeleton mask on top of his head.He was with a white woman and a young child wearing pink.
Man dressed as Teletubby faces charges
Police say four men — one dressed as a purple Teletubby, an other as a nun — attacked three Penn State students around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The assault occurred at the intersection of South Allen Street and Westerly Parkway.
One of the Penn State students may have fractured his cheek bone. Another was bleeding from his nose and mouth.
The attackers left the scene in a white Nissan vehicle. Police say charges are pending against two of the men: one dressed as a Teletubby and another wearing a sleeveless white shirt. They’re from Philadelphia. Two other suspects, one dressed as a nun and the other assailant have not been identified yet, police say.

Police investigate Allen Street attack
A 23-year-old Penn State student refused treatment after three men punched him, and then kicked him while he was on the ground. Charges are pending against two of the men, both from Altoona. Police have yet to identify the third suspect. The alleged attack occurred outside 426 S. Allen St. around 1 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to contact State College police.
Penn State student's nose broken in fight
Police say four unknown men attacked a 19-year-old Penn State student, breaking his nose. The incident occurred at the intersection of South Garner Street and Prospect Avenue around 1 a.m.
Alcohol task force active during weekend
During the Halloween weekend, the Centre County Alcohol Task Force conducted DUI roving patrols and special detail that resulted in these arrests and citations:
Seven DUI charges pending, nine for minor’s law violations, six for disorderly conduct, seven for public drunkenness, 18 traffic citations, one for simple assault and one for drugs. Officers from Ferguson, Patton and Spring townships and State College also issued 43 warnings.
