A former Penn state wrestler who lost his legs at birth will return to campus Wednesday for a motivational speech.
Rohan Murphy’s talk, “No Legs, No Problem,” is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the HUB-Robeson Center. It’s part of the university’s events in October to raise awareness of the talents and abilities of people who have disabilities.
Murphy began wrestling in high school in East Islip, N.Y., and joined the Penn State team under former coach Troy Sunderland. Murphy was a powerlifter and went 3-5 over two seasons.
Murphy later was selected from more than 100 Paralympic athletes and was featured in an online advertisement for Nike.
The event is open to the public.
