Visitors to Penn State’s campus had the opportunity to donate food to a good cause this weekend.
The third annual Stuff a Bus Food Drive began at noon Friday, when donations of canned goods began to be accepted at a bus located in front of the Bryce Jordan Center. The objective was to fill the bus with 10,000 pounds of food to be donated to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. On Saturday, donations were accepted at other locations surrounding Beaver Stadium so those attending Penn State’s football game against Temple could contribute.
The amount of food gathered at the event will not be known until later in the week.
