Former Penn State administrator Gary Schultz followed the lead of his former boss Graham Spanier Tuesday, filing a similar request in Dauphin County court, asking a judge to compel prosecutors to produce certain pretrial discovery evidence.
In question are emails previously deleted but thought to have been recovered.
Spanier and former Penn State athletic director Tim Curley submitted their requests earlier in the month. The three men are accused of perjury and conspiracy related to an alleged cover-up of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
According to Schultz’s request, to date, the only discovery the state has provided to the defense has been two subpoenas and three emails.
