My favorite part of the Akron mismatch was the student section, in unison, signaling for a safety when the Zips were backed near their goal line in the first quarter.
It was cool, like a Jimmy Buffett concert when it's time for "Fins."
Sean Lee did his best to try to deliver a safety, making two of the three tackles and pushing Akron back further. But the Zips got out of it and punted.
That was the highlight for me, followed closely by Derek Moye's performance. He looks like the real deal, and if that's the case it's looking good for Daryll Clark.
I'm not sure we learned much about the Nittany Lions.
