Will it be a case of throwing good money after bad, if the State College Area school board does sue over the swap?
That's what it seems like to me.
There hasn't been a successful suit against these deals, and the deals were made legal by the legislature in another one of their ill-fated laws.
It amazes me that given the publicity about these, here and statewide, that somebody in the legislature isn't trying hard to change that law and block them from school boards and local governments.
But other than Auditor General Jack Wagner, you don't hear anything in Harrisburg about the problems with these.
SCASD is going to have to pay up, but will it pay more to fight it? We'll see. We started a poll asking what you think about a suit.
