I probably speak for many Penn State fans by saying this quarterback indecision is tiring.
These Nittany Lions are no doubt better than they've been showing in games. They need steady leadership.
It could be that these two quarterbacks are as even as they could be, but that should not stand in the way of the Paternos from making a decision and playing a guy.
The team likely will respond to stability and leadership on offense. And I think the fans will respond with renewed energy.
A decision -- and some good quarterback play -- could vault this team to 6-1 leading to a Beaver Stadium visit by Illinois, a surprising team so far.
In the meantime, the indecision is not doing anything for anybody. It should be obvious to the coaches.
