Thanks to so many of you for sending in letters at an incredible clip concerning the Penn State scandal and the developments.
We're getting dozens of letters a day, and we're doing our best to keep up with them. It's very clear that Penn Staters everywhere read us and want to share their thoughts with our readers. We welcome that.
Look for files of online-only letters posted daily, along with individual letters published in print. CDT readers will see full pages of letters. We started that on Saturday and again today, and we'll have two pages Tuesday.
Be sure to visit our online opinion page for all of this, and to discuss letters.
Never miss a local story.
Here's some guidance if you're planning to send a letter:
-- Keep it to 200 words or less
-- Give name, address and phone.
-- List your Penn State affiliation, if there is one.
-- Feel free to send longer pieces, but priority will go to letters.
-- Priority always goes to readers in our area.
-- Emailed letters are preferred. Faxed or mailed letters take longer to turn around.
Send letters to email@example.com. We'll send you a note on the status of your letter as we catch up.
Last week, from Sunday to Saturday, our website had more than 3.5 million page views and unique visitors increased from about 30,000 a day to over 100,000 a day.
Thanks for reading us, everyone.
