Let's see if we have this right.
The Penn State trustees have top legal counsel, and now the Penn State president has a top lawyer.
Penn State still has lawyers, so these are over the top. How much is this costing and where will the money come from?
Same goes for the trustees' public relations firm and the trustees' investigative hire. And Penn State's new marketing hire, someone skilled in crisis management.
Where is the money coming from those? Penn State still has a PR army, doesn't it? We don't hear news of job cuts.
This is a lot of spending and if I were a legislator in Harrisburg these would be questions front and center.
Student tuition dollars should not go for lawyers. Legislators and parents should be assured of that.
