Not even buckets of rain pouring down could stop the many people who came out at the Spring Mills Fish and Game Sept. 26-27 to support the family of Sammy Boob. The sold-out chicken dinner went smoothly and tasted wonderful.
We, Sammy’s family, want to express our love and gratefulness to everyone who participated and worked so hard. The people of Penns Valley have a heart of gold! It was so fun hanging out with friends, family, neighbors and strangers, each having an unusual story about our son that we did not know.
The outpouring of love has reached all of our hearts and helped to bring healing and love to our daily lives. To all the friends and businesses who donated for the raffles and auction, thank you so much for making this time such a success.
The quilt that was given to us is so beautiful and such an expression of goodness and love, we thank you. (Stop by if you want to see it!) The car show was spectacular, even in the rain.
We cherish the time we spent with everyone. We read every card that has come to our home. In this imperfect world, it is refreshing to find a little bit of heaven right in our own backyard, with all of you.
