Complimentary football tickets end

STATE COLLEGE — Complimentary tickets for faculty and staff to attend State College Area High School football games have been eliminated.

Due to a Memorial Field bleacher repair project, there will be about 200 fewer seats at the stadium this year, according to the district.

The school board on Monday approved eliminating the complimentary tickets and also sending visitor section tickets to opposing schools prior to the games to ensure seats for guests. Any visitor tickets that aren’t sold will then be available to home fans.
