Burglary reported at Centre Hall home
State police are investigating a burglary at a home on the 100 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue in Centre Hall sometime overnight Sunday.
Police say someone jumped over a fence and entered an unlocked garage door and took a skateboard, mp3 player and headphones.
The thief fled through a gate in an unknown direction.
The burglary happened between 4 p.m. Saturday and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, police say.

Police investigate Howard burglary
State police are investigating the burglary on the 200 block of Vonada Lane in Howard on Friday or Saturday.
Police say someone forced open the front door of an unoccupied building and took about 40 feet of copper heat runs, causing the basement of the building to partially flood and damage the furnace.
The burglary happened between 9:30 a.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, police say.

Police seeking errant Taylor Township driver
State police are looking for a driver who they say drove through several fields, hitting a car, trees, and nearly missing a house in the early morning hours Saturday.
Police say this happened near South Mountain Road and Stahls Lane in Taylor Township between 1 and 6 a.m.
After driving through several fields, a car parked in the driveway of one residence was struck and the home nearby was just missed, police said.
Then, another field was driven through off of Stahls Lane and two apple trees were struck.

Statue taken from State College business
A 7-foot Gumby statue was stolen from a business on the 100 block of North Atherton Street on Sunday while the owner of the store was cleaning, State College police reported.
The estimated value of the statue is $250, police say, and it was taken around 6 p.m.
