closeHOLLIDAYSBURG — The Bald Eagle Area softball team will make its second straight appearance in the PIAA Class AA softball championship game with a 1-0 victory over Riverside in the state semifinals on Monday at Legion Field.

Megan Shaw struck out seven for the shutout win and Lily Glunt singled home Courtney Sweitzer with the game's only run to send the Lady Eagles to Shippensburg University's Robb Field, where they will meet Brandywine Heights at 10 a.m. Friday. BEA lost to Loyalsock in last year's state title game.
