Sign to monitor speed of drivers on Route 350
The state Department of Transportation has placed a radar-controlled speed display sign along state Route 350 in Rush Township, south of Philipsburg.
The sign, placed at the request of township residents, will remain on location for about two weeks. The display sign uses radar to determine the speeds of oncoming vehicles, and posts the speed in a lighted section, just above a speed limit sign.
The state police will monitor the section of Route 350 where the sign is located, according to PennDOT.
