closeA train, helicopters, firetrucks and other emergency equipment descended on Milesburg Friday as filming of the movie "Unstoppable" moved there for its last day of filming in Pennsylvania.
Crowds gathered to watch the action, centered in front of the American Legion building on High Street, and many Milesburg residents had the chance to be extras in the film.
The movie, starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pines and Rosario Dawson, is about a runaway freight train carrying explosives and chemicals. Filming took place in Emporium and the Pittsburgh area before moving in the past month to locations from Tyrone to Lock Haven along the Nittany Bald Eagle Railroad.
