Ferugson police investigate assault report

Ferguson Township police are investigating a report of an assault that they say occurred sometime between 2 and 3:30 this morning on Park Crest Lane.

The victim reported being assaulted by five men who jumped out of a white mini-van, knocked the victim to the ground and kicked him. The men then jumped back into the mini-van and left the scene, heading west on Park Crest Lane, police said.

The victim sustained very minor injuries, according to police.
