U.S. reviewing 700 bombing videos from Mosul to determine its role in civilian deaths

The U.S. military is reviewing more than 700 videos of bombs it dropped on the Iraqi city of Mosul, following reports that hundreds of civilians had been killed by U.S.-led airstrikes against the Islamic State in the campaign to retake the city. Local reports said that as many as 200 civilians, including women and children, had been killed at the same site as a March 17 airstrike while hiding in buildings from the increasingly bloody street-to-street battle in residential areas.
