If a conflict of interest is such a concern, why still no background check or release of financial statements of the Penn State board of trustees members?
I am not a college-educated man, but I am smart enough to know that people elected or appointed to the board of TRUSTees are in the position because they are being TRUSTed to do what best for the university as TRUSTees.
We all can disagree on what is best, but trust cannot be rebuilt through silence, bullying and backroom deals. Rebuilding trust should be one of their biggest concerns.
The board’ leadership has said they do not want to take part in the lawsuits that are filed. But by using those tactics, they are taking the side of the NCAA by trying to control who is involved in the suit.
