Regarding the Rev. Kenneth Codner’s Saturday Clergy Column, when exactly did the clergy column become an extension of the editorial page?
Most clergy columns I have read in this paper deal with universal, unifying topics: hope, charity, other-centeredness, etc.
Without even debating the merits of the good reverend’s opinion, I can freely state that this kind of opinionated sociopolitical garbage belongs with the editorials, and not in Centre Living.
The reverend is entitled to his opinion, just not in the lifestyle section.
Never miss a local story.
While we’re on the subject, when is the CDT going to offer so many column inches to atheists and agnostics?
