I enthusiastically endorse Seth Williams for election to the Penn State board of trustees.
I had the honor of serving as Williams’ vice president of the Undergraduate Student Government 25 years ago when he was president.
As a student, he demonstrated a selfless commitment to transparency and accountability from the Penn State administration and a passion for affordable education.
It has been my pleasure to watch him build a successful career as a public servant, working tirelessly for the people of Philadelphia as their first black district attorney.
In this day of increasing corporate influence over our educational institutions, it is vital for the Penn State community to have a voice on the board advocating for the best interests of all students and the future of the commonwealth with integrity of purpose and a proven record of public service.
