I’m a conservative, but I have no tolerance for progressive politicians who are putting pressure on working-class people by taxing and adding more revenues.
Gov. Tom Corbett last November signed into law the Transportation Act, which puts a 28 cent per gallon on gas increase on driver licenses and traffic violations. It was the largest tax increase in 22 years. Gas is already high! Thanks to our local senator and representatives who helped to bring the bill to the governor’s desk. They called it a bipartisan agreement. I called it taking more money out of the pockets of the working class and the poor.
I will vote on Nov. 4, but it will be a write-in vote for a true conservative, Bob Guzzardi. He probably won’t win, but at least I won’t be voting for either of the two Toms, who are both progressives!
