There are two words in our language that I have come to detest. They are: transparent and transparency.
For me, they bring to mind Mom’s good old roll of waxed paper or a plain shower curtain. We see these two words used incessantly on reports, statements, government conversations, committee hearings, political interviews, courts and speeches.
I like two words much better: clear and clarity. I hope to see these two words used instead.
Have I made myself clear?
