Every day, physicians across the nation care for patients they have known for many years as well as ones they have just met for the first time. Whether they are helping individuals or families maintain their well-being, managing serious long-term health issues or working to save a life in an emergency situation, they have a clear focus — treating each patient as an individual and caring for them in ways that will produce the best outcome.
In recognition of National Doctors’ Day, March 30, Geisinger Health System would like to express its appreciation to all the physicians in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey communities we serve. Day in and day out, they use their talents, training and passion for helping to improve the quality of life for every patient.
We are thankful for the nationally and internationally recognized doctors who make Geisinger one of the leading health care systems in the country. We are also grateful to all the dedicated private practice physicians who entrust us with their patients. It is a privilege to care for every patient who chooses Geisinger.
Thousands of times a day, individual patients and members of their families say “Thank you” to their doctors for the compassionate and skilled care they provide. Today, it is our turn.
