A young female college student and a middle-aged woman meet in the street.
Noticing the student is wearing a Bernie T-shirt, the older woman exclaims, “Oh! I see you’re a Bernie supporter. That’s so great for you kids to be interested in politics.”
“Thanks. Who are you voting for?”
“Oh, I’m with her. Besides, you don’t want to throw away your vote. We don’t want Trump in office.”
“Well,” the younger woman said sheepishly, “I voted in New York. Somehow my registration was erased, so I had to vote on a provisional ballot. Don’t worry, though. I didn’t throw away my vote. The state of New York did that already along with a pile of other votes for Bernie Sanders.”
