The Connecticut women’s basketball team extended its NCAA-record win streak to 99 games, and State College’s Kyla Irwin again played a role.

The former Lady Little Lion saw 15 minutes of game action Saturday in the No. 1 Huskies’ 83-41 victory over Southern Methodist. She scored four points to go with three rebounds and a steal.

UConn will go after win No. 100 on Monday when it hosts No. 6 South Carolina.
