Philipsburg’s offense didn’t wait around and put runs across the plate in bunches in the early innings in a 11-3 win over Bellefonte on Monday.
Philipsburg scored 10 combined runs in the first three innings.
When it looked like Bellefonte (4-16) would keep pace with two tallies of its own in the bottom of the first, the Bellefonte offense went cold.
Jake Belinda, Nate Kerlin and Matt Hample notched two hits apiece for Philipsburg. Bellefonte was led by Taylor Smith and Noah Perryman, who each hit two singles.
